Hanoi eyes 950 firms in support industries this year.

Hanoi has set a target to have 950 enterprises operating in supporting industries by 2022, with 300-350 firms with international standards and sufficient supply capacity. Industrial production value is expected to account for 16-17% of the capital city processing and manufacturing production value. Local authorities will hire experts to help firms receive technology transfer, conduct research and development, and apply management systems. The city is hosting a support industry expo, attracting international companies from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
